SOLUTION: The secondary surveillance radar system 1 includes: a Σ signal processing part 32 which includes a Log amplifier 41 for amplifying a Σ signal SΣgenerated from a received signal to a Log amplified signal SΣLogcontaining amplitude information Σa and phase information Σp, and an A/D converter 42 for performing digital conversion of the Log amplified signal SΣLoginto a digital signal SΣd; a Δ signal processing part 33 which includes a Log amplifier 51 for amplifying a Δ signal SΔgenerated from the received signal to a Log amplified signal SΔLogcontaining amplitude information Δa and phase information Δp, and an A/D converter 52 for performing digital conversion of the Log amplified signal SΔLoginto a digital signal SΔd; and a monopulse operation part 37 for calculating an azimuthal angle θ of an aircraft 91 from the amplitude information Σa, the phase information Σp, the amplitude information Δa, and the phase information Δp.
