<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a display surface of a closed display from contacting a keyboard without depending on an operator's manual operation based on his/her determination. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity sales data processing apparatus 101 has a structure in which a display 106 rotates to cover a keyboard 103. The apparatus 101 includes a pair of stoppers 201 provided on both sides of the display 106, and a restraining mechanism that restrains the stoppers 201 from rotating beyond a regulated position. Each tip of the stoppers 201 contacts the upper surface of a housing 102 so that the display surface of the display 106 may not contact the keyboard 103 when the display 106 rotates under gravity around an axis parallel to a rotation fulcrum shaft of the display 106 in accordance with the rotation of the display 106 in a closing direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
