PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical probe which reliably locates an irradiation position of irradiation light at a desired place for irradiation on a subject to be irradiated and an optical tomographic imaging apparatus which makes a corresponding relationship of positions between a tomographic image and an endoscopic image clear by using the optical probe. SOLUTION: In the optical probe, a cylindrical probe outer cylinder and an optical element which is disposed in the probe outer cylinder and emits irradiation light outside of the probe outer cylinder by transmitting the irradiation light through the probe outer cylinder are provided, and a protruded part is placed in the neighborhood of a position where the irradiation light is transmitted on a peripheral surface of the probe outer cylinder.
