PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out installation to and removal from an object part and to attain space saving. SOLUTION: Both ends in the longitudinal direction of a brace body 3 are provided with abutting mounting parts 4 to mounting object parts 2 respectively, and a part in the longitudinal direction of the brace body 3 is provided with a length adjusting part L that can extend and adjust the length of the brace body 3 in a state of securing compressive axial force of the brace body 3. The length adjusting part L is provided with an elongation energizing mechanism 12 capable of energizing the brace body 3 to elongate along the longitudinal direction the same with both the abutting mounting parts 4 attached to the mounting object parts 2, and both ends in the longitudinal direction of the length adjusting part L are provided with first mounting parts 10a, 11a provided at the length adjusting part L and allowing the length adjusting part L to be detachably mounted with a pre-stress introducing mechanism changeable into a state of introducing compressive pre-stress along the longitudinal direction into the length adjusting part L and into a state of releasing the introduced pre-stress.
