<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of enhancing heat transfer performance and achieving energy saving by controlling diameters of condensed water droplets formed on surfaces of plate-shaped fins to the most suitable diameter for the operating condition of a device provided with the fins without machining the fins at all, and to provide an air conditioner having the heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 1 comprises a plurality of plate-shaped fins 2 stacked at predetermined intervals and approximately parallel to one another, and a heat transfer tube 3 provided to pass the plate-shaped fins 2 wherein heat is exchanged between air passing between the plate-shaped fins 2 and refrigerant flowing in the heat transfer tube 3. The heat exchanger includes a control means 5 for vibrating air between the plate-shaped fins 2 and thereby controlling the diameters of condensed water droplets formed on the surfaces of the plate-shaped fins 2 to the most suitable diameter for each operating condition of the device having the fins. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
