PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power supply plug that has high structural reliability in order to prevent the occurrence of tracking fire beforehand. SOLUTION: The power supply plug is configured such that a plug body 11 has a pair of plug blades 20, 30 respectively inserted into each receiving blade 2 of an outlet 1. A recess 12 is formed between the plug blades 20, 30 on the front end face 11a, facing the outlet 1, of the plug body 11. Fire-extinguishing liquid 60, boiling at a prescribed heating temperature, is filled into the recess 12. An opening of the recess 12 is closed by a lid 40 that is removed from the opening of the recess 12 by heat and/or pressure during boiling of the fire-extinguishing liquid 60. Heat pipes 61, 62 are provided inside the recess 12 so as to transfer heat generated in the plug blades 20, 30 to the fire-extinguishing liquid 60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
