<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an RF discharge in an output window of a high output micro wave electron tube (a klystron, a TWT or the like). <P>SOLUTION: The output transition portion from a cylindrical tube of an output window to a rectangular cross-sectional tube (a connection portion to an external waveguide tube circuit) is in a shape capable of alleviating a local strong electric field. Namely, the output transition portion is in a shape in which it is jointed from an end part 90 on the cylindrical tube side with an end part 80 on the rectangular cross-sectional tube through a propagating face 130 on a conical inner side and jointing faces 132, 133 having a bidirectional curvature radius. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
