PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition which little changes the viscosity under an employment environment, and to provide a fluid bearing device containing the lubricant composition as a lubricating fluid. SOLUTION: This lubricant composition comprises an ion liquid as a base oil, and a moisture absorption inhibitor capable of forming a hydrophobic layer on a gas-liquid interface.
