SOLUTION: An electronic equipment operating device 10 is connected to the electronic equipment 2 having an operating member and operates the equipment 2. An electronic equipment information acquiring part 14 acquires the electronic equipment information including the shape information on the equipment 2 and the position information on the operating member of the equipment 2. An electronic equipment image generation part 16 generates an image of the equipment 2 having its operating member from the shape information and position information on the operating member of the equipment 2. An operation reception processing part 20 receives an operation to the operation member on the displayed image of the equipment 2. An operation information generation part 22 generates the operation information showing the received operation to start the function of the equipment 2 in response to the operation of the operating member.
