<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a configuration allowing efficient search and use processing of applications. <P>SOLUTION: A list of recommended applications relevant to a first application program which is being executed by an information processing apparatus of a user is generated and displayed. Analysis of application information relevant to the first application and application information relevant to the other applications is performed, and in addition, applications optimal for the information processing apparatus and the user are selected by applying an apparatus profile and a user profile.
