The present invention relates to a method for providing a roaming service between heterogeneous networks and a system for the same. The invention provides: a communication network system for providing a roaming service between heterogeneous networks, and a method for providing a roaming service through the communication network system. The communication network system comprises a packet-service network for providing a packet-based service, a circuit service network for providing a circuit-based service, and a roaming gateway. When a first terminal in the packet service network requests registration from the circuit service network, the roaming gateway obtains a service profile of the first terminal from the packet service network and authenticates the service profile, and then converts the service profile into a protocol of the circuit service network and provides the protocol in order for the circuit service network to register the first terminal. |
