PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect an object in a video. SOLUTION: A video input receives a video signal, and one or more video models generate video data from the video signal. A color-scale generator extracts color data from the preliminarily selected portion of the video data, and a color processor modulates the video data in accordance with time using the color data extracted from the color-scale generator.
