The fence has a base body formed from base body elements (2), and connecting areas (9, 10) comprising two attachment pieces (11, 12). The attachment pieces are placed opposite to each other, so that the base body elements are connected with each other in a force-fit manner. Two electrodes (4) are placed in the connecting areas in connecting elements (13) that are designed corresponding to each other such that the electrodes are connected with each other in a force-fit and electrically conducting manner. The electrodes are connected with an electrical energy source i.e. power pack.
