<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering system in which a steering response is improved. <P>SOLUTION: This power steering system comprises: a free piston which is arranged in a bypass hydraulic passage 50 movable forward or backward, and opens a second bypass valve 200 moved under a discharging hydraulic pressure supplied from a hydraulic pump through a first hydraulic passage 21 and opens a first bypass valve 100 moved under a discharged hydraulic pressure supplied from the hydraulic pump through a second hydraulic passage 22; a first branch hydraulic passage arranged to be branched from the bypass hydraulic passage to communicate with the free piston; and a second branch hydraulic passage arranged to be branched from the bypass hydraulic passage to communicate with the free piston. The flow passage sectional areas of the first branch hydraulic passage and the second branch hydraulic passage are formed to be lower than the flow passage sectional areas of the bypass hydraulic passage connecting between the first hydraulic passage and the first bypass valve and the bypass hydraulic passage connecting between the second hydraulic passage and the second bypass valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
