<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective sleeve for motor components, excellent in dimensional stability. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a protective sleeve for motor components, wherein the protective sleeve for motor components is braided to be a cylindrical braid of 24 strands and the initial elongation is 2-10%. The initial elongation (%)= [(L1-L0)/L0]×100, wherein L0 is the sleeve length (mm) when unloading 150 kg load to a sleeve after stood for 24 h in an atmosphere at 20°C±3°C and 65%±3% moisture, and L1 is the sleeve length (mm) when loading 150 kg load to a sleeve after stood for 24 h in an atmosphere at 20°C±3°C and 65%±3% moisture. As the protective sleeve, one having the high temperature oil resisting performance of 50% or more is preferable. Further, it is preferable that the braid contains from 2 to (N/4) warps when the strand number of the braid is N, and the braid has textural structure composed by inserted with the warps in the longitudinal direction of the braid or is further heat-treated under expansion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
