<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin in which monomers such as monohydroxyethyl terephthalate (MHET) and bishydroxyethyl terephthalate (BHET) are reduced and problems occurring at the time of molding a container are eliminated and to provide a preform consisting of the polyester resin. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin is characterized in that intrinsic viscosity is in a range of 0.65 to 0.85 dL/g, total content of monohydroxyethyl terephthalate and bishydroxyethyl terephthalate is less than 0.005 wt.%, heat of fusion is 50 J/g or less, melting end point is 270°C or less and crystallinity is less than 0.48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
