<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of preventing deterioration of battery output and suppressing shortage of electrolytic solution. <P>SOLUTION: The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery 10 has a power generation element 17 having a unit battery layer in which a negative electrode 23 forming a negative electrode active material layer 12 containing a negative electrode active material on the surface of a current collector 11, an electrolyte layer containing a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a positive electrode 24 forming a positive electrode active material layer 15 containing a positive electrode active material on the surface of a current collector 14 are laminated in the order, arranged inside an outer package body 22.
