<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating apparatus and a method capable of supplying assist power to an engine transmission shaft when an engine transmits power to the engine transmission shaft by a gear box. <P>SOLUTION: In the power generating apparatus and the method, the power generating apparatus 20 includes a power source supplier 207 for supplying a high voltage power source, a drive machine 208 for transmitting the power source by converting the high voltage power source into a drive power source, and a DC motor 201 for transmitting the drive power source transmitted by the drive machine to the engine transmission shaft 10 by being converted into assist power, and can assist the engine by providing the assist power for the engine transmission shaft by accelerating a rotating speed of the engine transmission shaft driven by the DC motor higher than a rotating speed of the engine transmission shaft driven by the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
