<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic appliance for improving an abutted state between a connection terminal and an inside of a cover member including a communication hole, and easily assembling the connection terminal with a housing, in the portable electronic appliance such as a charge terminal, which forms the communication hole on the side face of the cover member comprising the housing, and exposes the connection terminal to the outside through the communication hole. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The portable electronic appliance is provided with: a communication hole 100 for communicating an outer hole 103 formed on an outer surface 101 of the cover member 2b comprising the housing 2 with an inner hole 104 formed on an inner surface 102; a protrusion part 105 which is formed in a prescribed area including the inner hole 104 and protrudes toward the inside of the housing 2; a connection terminal part 51 having an abutted surface 58 abutted to the protrusion part 105; a first regulation part 54 which is placed opposite to the communication hole 100 almost in parallel and regulates movement of the connection terminal part 51 in the direction away from the protrusion part 105; and a second regulation part 55 which extends toward the side of the inner surface 102 and is placed so that an end surface 55a protrudes toward the side of the inner surface 102 to the abutted surface 58.
