PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent displacement during fixing operation of a front frame of a closet shelf by surely and easily locating a fixing position of the front frame in the operation. SOLUTION: In this fitting 10 for fixing the front frame, a front frame-fixed piece 11 for being fixed to the front frame 3 and a side-wall-fixed piece 12 for being fixed to a side wall 4 are formed in an approximate L-shape in a plan view while a front frame supporting piece 13 for supporting the front frame is protrusively formed at the lower end of the front frame-fixed piece. Also, a receiving crosspiece positioning portion (16), which comprises a vertical side 14 abutting on a butt end of a receiving crosspiece 2 fixed in an arbitrary height position on the side wall and a horizontal side 15 abutting on the undersurface of the receiving crosspiece, is notched and formed in the side wall-fixed piece. Using the fitting 10, the front frame is positioned and fixed on the basis of the prefixed receiving crosspiece, and a shelf board is installed and fixed onto the receiving crosspiece and the front frame, so as to form the closet shelf. A lower end of the front frame is placed on the front frame supporting piece, or fitted into a horizontal groove which is formed on the backside of the front frame, so as to support the front frame.
