PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate change and increase of an information provision position and acquisition of the latest information provided. SOLUTION: An information provision system 1 includes a navigation apparatus 2 in a vehicle and an information center 3 which provides an occupant of the vehicle with information. The navigation apparatus 2 wirelessly acquires a plurality of pieces of reception position information distributed from the information center 3. When determining that the vehicle reaches a reception position indicated by the reception position information acquired, the navigation apparatus 2 wirelessly acquires display information from the information center 3 for a display position indicating the contents displayed and display position information indicating a display position, both of which correspond to the reception position. When determining that the vehicle reaches the display position indicated by the display position information acquired, the navigation apparatus 2 displays the contents indicated by the acquired display information for the display position.
