PURPOSE: A multi-stream ciphering method for multi-channel recording, a multi-stream ciphering apparatus and a host device are provided to record a plurality of programs received through a multichannel through a host device supporting a DCAS(Downloadable Conditional Access System). CONSTITUTION: A modulation unit(110) receives communication data through a multichannel. The modulation unit demodulates a TS(Transport Stream) about the multichannel. A security module unit(120) receives the transport stream about the multichannel. The security module unit ciphers descrambled TS after descrambling of the transport stream. A DVR(Digital Video Recorder) storage(130) records the encrypted transport stream.
