<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor easy to mount current carrying bus with various dimensions. <P>SOLUTION: A current sensor 102 is disclosed which includes a coil 110 for sensing current in a current carrying bus 106, and a mount 120 for mounting the coil 110 to the current carrying bus 106 at a distance from the bus 106. Also a system 100 is disclosed which includes the current sensor 102 having similar structure. The coil 110 can include an external insulation layer.
