BOOKBINDING APPARATUS AND BOOKBINDING SYSTEM

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding apparatus for automatically binding into a plurality of number of booklets from a sheet formed with images separately by a printing apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sheet feeding unit for feeding sheets one by one to an accumulation tray having a sheet matching means is arranged. The unit comprises a stack tray stacking and housing the sheets, and a separately sending means separately sending the sheets one by one toward the accumulation tray. A mark detecting means detecting marks formed on the sheets is disposed in the path guiding the sheet to the sheet feeding unit or accumulation tray. Page discriminating marks of the sheets housed in the sheet feeding unit are detected by the detecting means, and the sheets are controlled to be conveyed from the accumulation tray toward the bookbinding process based on the detection results.
