PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot client management system for network-based robot control and a method therefor. SOLUTION: The robot client management method comprises a step of authenticating a robot client through an authentication process when the robot client is connected, a step of generating a robot object corresponding to the robot client, a step of extracting profile information including information for initializing the robot client, robot client-related network information, and robot client processing-related information from the robot client, and a step of transmitting extracted profile information to an administrator server and registering the robot object with the administrator server. Accordingly, a variety of different models of robot clients are connected to the administrator server and can execute a sensing function and a processing function through the network.
