ROLLED PLATE SHAPED BODY OF MAGNESIUM ALLOY AND ELECTRICAL APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rolled plate shaped body of magnesium alloy including a structural component fitting part that can be used suitably as a cabinet of the electrical apparatus. SOLUTION: The rolled plate shaped body of magnesium alloy is used for an armoring part of the cabinet of electrical apparatus, particularly of a portable electrical apparatus in the folding type opening and closing structure and also includes a structural component mounting part to form a structure of the cabinet. This shaped body is provided with a folding structure that can be folded to form two surfaces providing difference in heights. In this folding structure, plate thickness t (mm) and external interval L (mm) of the two surfaces in the rolled plate shaped body of magnesium alloy satisfy the relationship of 3t≤L≤20t. Moreover, the electrical apparatus includes the opening and closing cabinet for mounting a hinge component to the shaped body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
