<p>The melon-holder includes an elongated base having a pair of jaws each pivotal about a separate side of the base. The jaws are pivotal from a melon-engaging position to a melon-releasing position. The jaws have a number of lateral spaces which are spaced apart from one another and which are adapted to receive a knife for cutting the melon into lateral slices while the jaws are in the melon-engaging position.</p> |
