<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing Sushi sandwich, producing a large amount of Sushi sandwich continuously at a high production efficiency, and producing delicious Sushi sandwich containing moderate air between rice grains and rice grains, and having puffy palate feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing the Sushi sandwich includes a belt conveyor which carries on an upper surface and conveys a long Sushi sheet in a condition of placing and holding sheet-like vinegared rice and ingredients on the upper part of sheet-like laver, a molding mechanism which molds the long Sushi sheet to a long Sushi block in a cross-section square form, thicker than the Sushi sheet, a sheet-like laver supplying mechanism which supplies sheet-like laver to the upper surface of the Sushi block, a forming mechanism which forms the Sushi block supplied with sheet-like laver on the upper surface, and a cutting mechanism which cuts the Sushi block after forming in each fixed length.
