<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and method, and a program, wherein the efficiency of using a buffer can be improved based on a buffer model. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus 1 includes an encoder IP device 11, a control device 12 and an additional information addition device 13. The encoder IP device 11 encodes moving image data. The additional information addition device 13 adds additional data to output data from the encoder IP device 11. The control device 12 monitors the capacity of output data to be output from the encoder IP device 11, and when the additional information addition device 13 adds the additional data to the output data, controls the output of the encoder IP device 11 so that the capacity of the output data including the additional data becomes a fixed value or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
