<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view a light L<SB>1</SB>in a horizontal direction from a distant point with a distance from a ship S to a quay B, and also to view a light L<SB>2</SB>in a vertical direction continuously from a time point when the distance between the ship S and the quay B is relatively decreased till the ship S comes alongside the quay completely, and accordingly to safely come alongside the quay while continuously recognizing sense of distance between the quay B and one's own ship S without causing a dead angle area as a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The shore-arrival light is provided with a projection window 2 which emits the light in a horizontal direction from a light source and a projection window 3 which emits the light in a vertical direction from the light source. The lights L<SB>1</SB>, L<SB>2</SB>in two different horizontal and vertical directions are emitted by a light-emitting diode 2a which emits the light in a horizontal direction and a light-emitting diode 3a which emits the light in a vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
