PURPOSE: A settlement method and a system thereof for performing cost payment about a proxy driving service are provided to accurately recognize a payment history of the service cost by directly performing online payment through a credit card. CONSTITUTION: A proxy driver's portable terminal(10) requests the payment initiative of the rent-a-drive service cost. A proxy driving customer's portable terminal(20) for the rent-a-drive client advances the settlement request. The card payment information is inputted. A proxy driving management server informs the requirement of the payment. The management server requests the payment approval to a payment processing server(80).
