<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a conventional modeling device for model base development, one function is described as models with different degrees of detail-description contents, and relevance between them cannot be prescribed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The modeling device is provided with: a description level control means for adding description level information for specifying a description level of a model corresponding to model information; and a description level correspondence display data generation means for displaying a model according to the description level information. In addition, the modeling device is provided with a description level control means for adding relevant element information which specifies relation between components of the model information with two or more pieces of description level information added thereto.
