<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detection in which a regulatory sequence can be identified among other screenings in relation to systematic elucidation and identification of the regulatory sequence. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for detecting a DNA sequence having characteristics of regulating gene transcription, and optionally selecting thereof. The method includes preparing a vector comprising various fragments in a transcription system. The vector includes: (i) an element having characteristics of suppressing the gene transcription; and (ii) a promoter directing the transcription of a reporter gene. Furthermore, there is provided a method for use thereof in various fields such as, but not limited to protein production, diagnostics, transgenic plants and animals, and the therapeutic field by the method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
