<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation which is used for the skin, prevents the decrease of vitamin A receptors due to UV light, and sufficiently gives the ageing-preventing effects of vitamin A and its derivatives. <P>SOLUTION: This external preparation for improving skin wrinkle prevention contains an extract of a Coleus plant. The extract of the Coleus plant can prevent the decrease of the vitamin A receptors due to UV light to enhance the collagen synthesis-promoting actions of the vitamin A and its derivatives.
