PURPOSE: A FLEX tension null transducer including a high outputting piezoelectric actuator is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost through a manufacturing process by dividing a shell into two parts in the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(240) has a structure of cylindrical. A piezoelectric actuator(230) includes a penetration hole corresponding to the shaft. The shaft is inserted through the penetration hole of the piezoelectric actuator. A first half-shell(210) and a second half-shell(220) are used in order to protect the piezoelectric actuator and the shaft. The first half-shell and the second half-shell are combined to a sphere or an ellipsoid. The first half-shell and the second half-shell have a pressurization plate with compressing the piezoelectric actuator in a combining process. Grooves(245a,245b) capable of fixing both edge units of the shaft are formed in each the pressurization plates(250a,250b). A compressed state of the piezoelectric actuator is maintained by a combining unit of the edge unit of the first half-shell and the second half-shell. |
