The inventive method for carrying out a lottery involves informing a lottery participant about the lottery conditions by means of an information input/output device used for carrying out the lottery, selecting the lottery conditions by the lottery participant and paying the participation in the lottery. Then, the information fields of a lottery ticket are displayed on the information input/output device used for carrying out the lottery, the lottery participant fills the information fields of a lottery ticket by numerical and/or graphical symbols, data about values with which the lottery participant fills the information fields of a lottery ticket is transmitted to an accounting device and is processed therein, thereby drawing the lottery, then, the lottery participant is informed about the lottery results and the prize is paid to the participant in the case of the positive result of his participation in the lottery. The information fields of a lottery ticket are filled by the lottery participant with the values obtained during participation in a preliminary lottery which enables the lottery participants to increase or decrease the lottery ticket nominal value which defines the possible winning amount of the participation in the main lottery. Payment terminals, cash dispensers, gaming machines, photo booths, parking payment machines and other similar devices can be used as a lottery device. A sensor screen can be used as an information input/output device. An IBM PS compatible computer can be used as an accounting device. Data about values with which the lottery participant fills the information fields of the lottery ticket is transmitted to the accounting device with the aid of external communications means such as modems and antennas in order to carry out a lottery by using GLONAS, GPRS and GSM systems. The invention is a novel technical solution directed at maintaining, for a long time, the game appeal of the lottery participants to the lottery and increasing the game appeal of the lottery participants to the lottery itself during the process thereof. |
