PURPOSE: A composition for a loess block is provided to have an excellent aesthetic appearance due to the properties of loess and to improve strength, water retention, durability, and workability by containing an inorganic binding material and a solidifying agent. CONSTITUTION: A composition for loess block comprises granite soil or decomposed granite soil 8-40 weight%, yellow soil 42-70 weight%, inorganic-based binding material 0.1-20 weight%, firming agent 0.1-15 weight%, and water 0.1-8 weight%. The inorganic-based binding material includes cement 50-90 weight%, alumina cement 3-25 weight%, and metakaolin 3-25 weight%. The firming agent includes a styrene-butadiene emulsion promoting the bond of the inorganic materials. |
