<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a master cylinder piston from being changed over into a non-movable condition after the integral movement of the master cylinder piston and a stroke simulator piston is started, when generating strokes corresponding to brake operating force. Ž<P>SOLUTION: To a front site of a cylinder inner hole 10a of a cylinder body 10, the stroke simulator piston 21 and a simulator part spring 22 for energizing it rearward are attached. To a rear site of the cylinder inner hole 10a of the cylinder body 10, the master cylinder piston 41 is attached. Between the stroke simulator piston 21 and the master cylinder piston 41, a master cylinder part spring 42 for energizing the master cylinder piston 41 rearward and a positioning mechanism 70 for specifying an initial isolation distance between both pistons 21, 41 are attached.
