The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 907,002, but the claims are concerned with a motor vehicle having a door lock controlled by a fluid-operated servomotor, and a valve comprising a valve element controlling a pressure or vacuum supply for operating the servomotor and connected to a diaphragm which partly defines a control chamber and which is urged by a spring in one direction, the control chamber being arranged to communicate with a source of pressure or vacuum which is generated by the engine of the vehicle while the engine is running and which moves the diaphragm against the action of the spring and thus moves the valve element so as to operate the servomotor and lock the door when the engine is started.</p> |
