PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for control of a media are provided to discharge a media smoothly by uniformly controlling the pushing force on the pushing plate. CONSTITUTION: A pushing plate(12) comprises a transmission piece. The pushing plate driving unit transfers the pushing plate whole. A plurality of sensors senses the deviation of the medium thickness. A controller(17) corrects the thickness deviation bases on the signal outputted from the sensor. The transmission piece driving unit transfers only the transmission piece in order to correct the thickness deviation of the media.
