FRICTION COUPLING DEVICE

A friction coupling device, wherein a restricting mechanism for restricting relative movement between a cylinder member and a drum member in the axial direction is provided further towards the cylinder chamber side than a friction plate in the pressing direction of a piston.  The friction coupling device can perform stable coupling operations without increasing the thickness of the outer wall or the like.
