<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight device in which the luminance of a display screen is made wholly uniform by preventing luminance leaning of a light source even if the light source of the liquid crystal display screen is lighted by a single side drive method. <P>SOLUTION: The backlight device 20 includes a plurality of long fluorescent tubes 22, a chassis 24 on which a plurality of fluorescent tubes 22 are arranged in parallel, and a reflecting member 31 which is arranged between the plurality of fluorescent tubes 22 and the chassis 24. In the backlight device 20, the reflecting member 31 is arranged so that the spacing La between one end part 22a in longitudinal direction 1 of the opposed fluorescent tubes 22 and the reflecting member 31 may be larger than the spacing Lb between the other end part 22b in longitudinal direction 1 of the fluorescent tubes 22 and the reflecting member 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
