PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor compression type refrigerating cycle capable of performing internal heat exchange within the cycle at appropriate time as needed and of improving efficiency and durability of a compressor by suppressing a rise in suction refrigerant temperature of the compressor. SOLUTION: In the vapor compression type refrigerating cycle including the compressor, a condenser, an expansion means and an evaporator, a cool storage means is provided in a refrigerant circuit from the evaporator to the compressor. The refrigerant circuit from the condenser to the expansion means is branched to a circuit passing through the cool storage means and a circuit bypassing the cool storage means, and a change-over valve for switching the circuit as needed is provided in a branch portion of the branched circuit.
