PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve power saving in a wireless terminal and a communication apparatus (base station).

SOLUTION: The communication apparatus includes: a first wireless communication part for wirelessly communicating with a first wireless apparatus on a first wireless network; a beacon transmission part for periodically transmitting a beacon signal to the first wireless apparatus through the first wireless communication part; a period determination part for determining a transmission permission period for permitting the data transmission of the first wireless apparatus; a notification part for notifying the first wireless apparatus of a control signal for instructing the transmission permission period through the beacon signal; and a power management part for controlling power supply so as to stop the power supply to the first wireless communication part in idle communication periods other than the transmission permission period and the transmission timing period of the beacon signal in respective communication periods.
