PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety system having electric equipment which is operation controlled by various operation modes including a stop mode and a normal operating mode, a switching operation regulation device which regulates switching operation of a switching member, and a control device which controls changes of operation modes of the electric equipment, in which safety is secured or improved equally and the electric structure is simplified. SOLUTION: The safety system has a structure in which the switching operation regulation device (safety switch 1 and actuator function part 50) and a switchover switch (key switch 61) of the control device (control board 60) which are respectively operated for carrying out mechanically regulation of switching operation of a switching member and for changing of the regulation of the switching operation and changing of operation modes of the electric equipment (industrial equipment 81-83) are operated by an identical key member, and the key member is in free separation in the prohibited state of switching operation of the switching operation regulation device, and is respectively in free separation and in non-separation state in the operation state corresponding to the stop mode and the normal operation mode of the switchover switch.
