<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for a thin interior member capable of molding a connection part of a resin member formed in thin thickness into the thickness equal to a general part and attaining insurance of strength of the connection part in connection. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The connection structure 10 for the interior member includes steps as such: an engagement projection 14a projectedly provided on a peripheral edge of a second resin member 14 is penetrated to an engagement hole 12c of the connection part formed so as to be extended from a peripheral edge of the general part of a first resin member 12; and the first resin member 12 and the second resin member 14 are connected by melting/solidifying a distal end part 14b of the engagement projection projected from the engagement hole. The connection part comprises a first engagement part 122 extended from the general part 12a and a second engagement part 126 continued to the first engagement part through a hinge part 124, and the first engagement part 122 and the second engagement part 126 are superposably formed by bending the second engagement part 126 at the hinge part 124.
