<p>A tire having increased resistance to uneven wear and improved low noise characteristics. The tire has rows (5) of block land sections divided and formed on the tread (1). Among the rows (5) of block land sections, two rows (5) adjacent to each other with a circumferential groove (2) therebetween are arranged in such a manner that the block land sections (4) forming the two rows (5) are shifted from each other in the tire's circumferential direction, and grooves (6) each located between block land sections adjacent to each other in the tire's lateral direction extend so as to be tilted relative to the tire's lateral and circumferential directions. Each block land section (4) in each row (5) is adjacent to at least two block land sections (4) in the adjacent row (5) with the grooves (6) therebetween, and side walls (9, 10) of two faces of the block land section (4) adjacent to at least two block land sections (4) have different projection lengths when projected to a line parallel to the tire's circumferential direction. Also, block land sections (4) adjacent to each other in the tire's lateral direction are arranged so as to be point symmetrical with respect to the groove (6) located between the block land sections (4) adjacent to each other in the tire's lateral direction.</p> |
