PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed plastic-based heat insulation material exhibiting performance superior in heat insulation performance, mechanical strength and flame resistance. SOLUTION: This foamed plastic heat insulation material is characterized by arranging a divided fiber nonwoven fabric layer 3 composed of a polyolefine-based resin on at least one surface among obverse-reverse surfaces of a plastic-based foam 1, and a face material 2 such as glass cloth, victoria lawn, woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, paper, aluminum foil-sticking nonwoven fabric, a metallic plate or metallic foil, is also laminated on the divided fiber nonwoven fabric layer as a reinforcing material.
