<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that gives a karaoke user incentive to sing, by extracting a seasonable musical piece and displaying musical piece information on it, giving sense of the season, and further motivating each user to sing, at each season, by recommending seasonal musical pieces that is made to correspond to individual users corresponding to the season. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Standard deviations (σ) in section units are calculated from total yearly frequencies (Xg) by musical pieces played by a karaoke device and average frequencies (Xav) by the sections, and conversion standard deviations (α) per frequency of the respective musical pieces, further calculated based on them, to distinguish and extract seasonal musical pieces. Then, by finding out relative standard deviation rates (β) in the section units are found from the frequencies of the playings of the respective sections by the extracted musical pieces, section average frequencies, and standard deviations as to which section is much higher in frequency of playing than the other sections, and then pieces of recommended musical piece information extracted by the sections are displayed besed on calendar functions.
