The procedure of taking bets according to this patent application changes the logic of bets by the fact that the value of colour chips which determine the bets during a roulette play is not permanently determined but is defined by the total amount of all bets. Since the number of colour chips is constant, and the value of bets can vary from round to round, the value of the colour chips changes regarding the amount of the total bet. The consequence of this logic is that the colour chips do not need to be collected from the table if lost but remain in place for the next round where the bet will be paid based on an overall amount for all colour chips. For a casino this means a great saving of time and staff since the collecting of chips and making new bets the traditional way is quite time-consuming. This logic or procedure can be applied at gaming tables, electronic roulettes and internet casinos. At gaming tables the system anticipates the use of standard chips or chips with integrated transponder which can be constantly identified, listed and located on the table, a computer terminal which stores events and movements regarding the chips and a special terminal for the player, which displays the total amount of the player's account. With the system involving RFID chips the system upon every announced game automatically records the total value of the bet of RFID chips of each individual player and deducts the assessed value from the player's account. In case of a win the system adds the value of the win which is represented by the chip on the winning field to the account. |
